Buencafé Nominated at La Noche de los Mejores

Buencafé, the company representing Colombian coffee farmers, has won the Sustainability category at the Noche de los Mejores 2024 organized by the National Federation of Entrepreneurs of Caldas (Fenalco Caldas).

La Noche de los Mejores is a traditional ceremony held by Fenalco with the aim of honoring entrepreneurs who have excelled in various areas. Recently, Fenalco Caldas announced the list of nominees for the 12 categories of La Noche de los Mejores: commercial merit, distinguished merchant, business development, guild gratitude, social responsibility, entrepreneurship, female entrepreneur, technological innovation, Mercury of Gold, impact on the territory, and sustainability, with the latter being the category in which Buencafé has been recognized as a leader in the department.

Sustainability for a company refers to the set of responsible practices within its business model that aim for economic profitability, as well as social and environmental well-being.

In this regard, sustainability for Buencafé means not only minimizing the environmental impact of its processes but also committing to the quality of life of the more than 556,000 Colombian coffee farming families who trust in it. We firmly believe that the best way to achieve this goal is by encouraging all our stakeholders to become aware of the contribution each individual can make to global sustainability.

This award means a great deal to Buencafé, as it recognizes the work we have done as an organization in creating sustainable value for coffee farmers, the country, and the world.
