Today, October 18, 2024, it is a source of immense pride for the National Federation of Coffee Growers to celebrate with all of you that today marks 65 Years of our Extension Service.
This group of men and women daily accompanies coffee-growing families in more than 600 municipalities in the country, providing them with useful and practical technical assistance. The Extension Service has become an indispensable ally of Colombian producers when it comes to transforming coffee cultivation into a real profitable and productive company.
The commemoration of this date not only serves to praise a practice that maintains the strong ties between the FNC and the coffee-growing families that comprise it, but also to recognize the arduous work that extension agents carry out in the interest of promoting better agronomic practices, which allow the producer to optimize their processes, conserve their land and resources in good conditions, and, in the process, improve their income, which translates into higher development rates for the rural sector in Colombia.
